The Foundation For WellBeing , Scunthorpe

The Gambia project is a charity started by a group of people who wanted to help educate children who had no means of schooling in Gambia. Gambia is a country where so many poor people suffer and go without the education that we in Britain take for granted. By building schools so children will get an education can only help them on a road to a much brighter future.

I myself bumped into Ian Cox on a car boot sale late January 2008 where he was selling brick and brack to raise money to send to this charity. After speaking to Ian for a short time I told him that I would like to try and help him and that’s how I got involved with the project in Gambia.

Above are some links to photos of the kids from one of the schools that the charity money raised by these people has built over the past few years.

If you would like to help raise money to build another school just like this one then you can do so by sending your donation directly to me and I give you my solemn word that every penny you send will go straight to the project. Not only that I will keep you posted on a regular basis to how things are getting on. The show at Doncaster Civic theatre 12th Feb 2008 raised £47, and the show at the Gate theatre in Goole on 20th March raised £55 for the the Education in Gambia charity.
