The Foundation For WellBeing , Scunthorpe

The Gambia project is a charity started by a group of people who wanted to help educate children who had no means of schooling in Gambia. Gambia is a country where so many poor people suffer and go without the education that we in Britain take for granted. By building schools so children will get an education can only help them on a road to a much brighter future.

I myself bumped into Ian Cox on a car boot sale late January 2008 where he was selling brick and brack to raise money to send to this charity. After speaking to Ian for a short time I told him that I would like to try and help him and that's how I got involved with the project in Gambia.

Above are some links to photos of the kids from one of the schools that the charity money raised by these people has built over the past few years.

If you would like to help raise money to build another school just like this one then you can do so by sending your donation directly to me and I give you my solemn word that every penny you send will go straight to the project. Not only that I will keep you posted on a regular basis to how things are getting on. The Healmaster shows in June 2009 raised £100 for The Gambia Project.

In 2009, Gary has become involved in another charity, this one helping children in India. Click here to see the charity in action.

Any person who would like me to help with their charity should email me giving details of how they believe I can help. If you yourself would like to arrange a show for charity, I will be more than happy to come along and give my services for free.
